Applying strain gages, measuring strain and computing stress are fundamental to developing reliable products as well as performing failure analysis on products already in service. We directly support our nation's military having installed thousands of strain gages on engine components powering the Air Force F-22 Raptor fighter jet, Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps F-35 Lightning II fighter jet and Air Force and Navy F-15 and F-16 fighter aircraft. Commercially, we have been intimate partners with aerospace leader, Pratt & Whitney, in its initial testing and entry into service of its revolutionary geared turbofan series of engines.
